SATURDAY- Airport or hotel pickup and transfer to Maya Mountain Lodge
SUNDAY (new) - A visit to Barton Creek Cave involves paddling canoes for over an hour along an ancient Mayan waterway within the mountain. We view a skull and artifacts on ledges as we weave between stalactites. This is one of the largest caves in the world and certainly one of the most beautiful. The ceiling is very high for most of the tour and beautiful rock flows and cathedral chambers make this a wonderful place to photograph.
MONDAY - A morning jungle river trip includes the Rainforest medicine trail.
(Panti Trail). After lunch a transfer to the Municipal airport or Belize City hotel

TUESDAY - Early morning departure for a full day trip to Tikal, a Maya site in Guatemala. (Includes guide fees, visa, and park entry fees). Overnight at Maya Mountain Lodge. (Ask for details about our overnight option at Tikal).
WEDNESDAY - Transfer to the airport or Belize City Hotel.

TUESDAY - An early morning departure for a full day trip to Tikal Mayan Ruins (includes guide fees, visa, and park entry fees). This sight is considered by many as the best in archaeology and natural history. Overnight at Maya Mountain Lodge WEDNESDAY - FREE DAY to relax in a hammock, walk our jungle trails, or browse in San Ignacio's shops. Horseback trail rides, canoeing, and other trips can also be arranged.
THURSDAY - An early morning departure takes you to the newly excavated metropolis of Caracol. This sight actually conquered Tikal in the 7th century A.D. Primary forest surround this ancient city.
FRIDAY-A visit to the Pottery Cave at Che Chem Ha. Surrounded by the Vaca Forest Reserve this incredible cave has huge intact pots on the ledges of the path leading to an ancient ceremonial chamber. After lunch we visit the ruins of Xunantunich where recent discoveries show that it survived the collapse of the Classic Mayan Period by up to 200 years.
SATURDAY - Transfer to the airport or Belize City Hotel.

Extra nights at Maya Mountain Lodge-$80-110 per\person per day includes 3 meals and lodging. Guest pays 7% room tax and 10 % s.c. for food and room at the lodge. A single room is available for a $30 dollar per night supplemental fee. Transfers returning to Belize are available for $30 per person (min 2).
All tours operate as guaranteed arrivals and are operated on a shared bases. Private tours are available at an additional cost. We reserve the right to remove anyone from a tour due to what we consider inappropriate behavior. Every effort will be made to accommodate you on your vacation and we look forward to being your hosts.
